Overview

Og Castle was founded durring the early 13th century in spring of the year 1214, by Zlêbëmê Wreford. The establishment of Og Castle was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Zlêbëmê Wreford electing to pay people to resettle in Og Castle.

Og Castle was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Og Castle is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Og Castle is buildings have been located at convienant points along the lake Og Castle was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the crampt paverstone streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The city sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The city's would-be-castle fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the city.

A look around Og Castle gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Og Castle can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Og Castle places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.
